It once occurred to me
that to be able to do,
work must be done.
Work on what?
Anything, of course.
But to start to work,
from the very beginning,
shows the lack of skill,
the need for time,
a call towards effort.
As one moves through childhood,
aging towards death,
it is quite easy to stick to one or two doings.
But when this is done,
life slows down, time to a stop,
being towards nothing,
caught in a loop.
To take full advantage of the given life,
one must learn to work anew,
making a fool.
Leaving old habits, starting fresh,
the mantle dusted,
one becomes young again.
To see where work must be done,
fearing not the consequences, nor results,
to pass through effort once again,
the creaky staircase upwards,
towards new journeys,
vibrating with greater frequency,
towards greater knowledge,
darkness to life.
So, learn to become impartial,
Make oneself a fool again.
Perhaps it hurts at first,
one makes embarrassing blunders,
but in the end,
life is only a matter of growth.
Even the plants work hard to grow.
